Compact fluorescent light bulbs or CFL’s as they are more commonly referred are the light bulbs which are fluorescent and look like a cork screw. They will screw into a standard light socket and their use has become increasingly popular as a result of the green energy movement and government regulations. CFL’s do use substantially less electric and last longer as compared to an incandescent bulb. They also remit substantially less heat as compared to incandescent.
